Aruinbold is a desert doctor in Mongolia. He is a nomad and during the communist era he was trained so that he could go and treat the nomads of the desert, because no other doctor wanted to go there. Apart from his stethoscope and blood pressure monitor, he has no tools. To pull out a tooth, he borrows the patient's forceps. He travels on his little horse, goes from yurt to yurt even when the snow covers the mountain.
