Star Fox 64 (or Lylat Wars depending on where you’re from) was one of the standout titles of the Nintendo 64 for many people. If there’s one thing that I think all Star Fox fans can agree upon, it’s that this game is an absolute classic. But why is this the case? Why do people remember Star Fox 64 so fondly, more so than any of its predecessors and successors alike? And to add to that point: why is the Star Fox franchise eternally stuck in a loop of recreating the same formula that it defined.
