Join Wings' Curator Chuck Stout on a journey into the history of a twinengine, military transport aircraft developed from the civilian DC3 airliner – the Douglas C47 Gooney Bird.

We’ll learn about this particular aircraft's incredible role in leading the airborne invasion on DDay, walkaround the C47 to learn about its unique design features, and yes, we are even going to fly this thing.
