Elijah was one of the only two people in all of history that never died. He is one of the only two people who appeared with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Moses was there representing the law, and Elijah was there representing the prophets. And Elijah is mentioned more in the New Testament than any other Old Testament prophet. Yet, James 5:17 says that "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours..." He was just a man like us, so what was the secret of Elijah's boldness?
