I've seen a host of videos about World of Warcraft's "unreachable" or "unknown" or "secret" or "hidden" or "liminal" spaces, but they all show off the same places. And I have to admit, I'm guilty of showing off some of those too.

I wanted to go further, I wanted to explore, and find that childlike wonder again. But I didn't know where to look at first, since I knew most every zone and instance in the game by heart. But I succeeded, and I found deep liminality along with it. Welcome to the WoW Backrooms.
