The reality TV competition show America’s Next Top Model premiered in 2003 and has run for 24 seasons or "cycles," to use the show's term. It has spawned 30 other shows internationally and during its heyday, it was UPN’s most successful series.
But the longrunning program has finally come to an end. It was created during the peak of reality TV shows in the early 2000s and had gained a large following throughout its run. However, it also received its fair share of warranted criticism.
So, why is this longrunning show finally coming to an end? Is it just because of declining ratings or is there more than meets the eye?
