The Red Talon is one of the two large factions that are presented to us within State of Decay 2, directly rivaling The Network, the organization created by Lily Ritter after the events of the first game.

Unlike its rivals, Red Talon is focused squarely on military and weapons power. They believe in the law of the fittest and are willing to do what is necessary to rebuild the world after the zombie apocalypse. Even if it leads them to cross moral boundaries.

They are a highly trained paramilitary faction that has managed to gain a lot of power after the disappearance of the army and that is shaping up to have an important role in the third installment of the saga.
