This is a reading of Picatrix Book 3, Chapter 6 which pertains to the Hermetic/pseudoAristotelian concept of the “Perfect Nature” which is a kind of illumination experienced by the perfected sage at the summit of all learning in both the sciences and in philosophy – in other words, the knowledge of and conversation with one's higher genius. The passage draws on texts from the pseudoAristotelian Hermetica and describes a peculiar magical incubation ritual followed by another invocation ritual and a communal feast, with some speculations on what exactly is Perfect Nature and how it connects to the science of astral magic.
