"The Sea Beast" is a 2022 animated adventure film directed by Chris Williams. It's about a seamonster hunter and a young orphan girl who team up to find a legendary sea creature called the Red Bluster.



The movie features the voices of Karl Urban, ZarisAngel Hator, Jared Harris, and Marianne JeanBaptiste, along with other actors in supporting roles.


It first came out in theaters on June 24, 2022, and then landed on Netflix on July 8. People really liked it, and it became Netflix's mostwatched original animated film, with 165 million hours viewed in the first five months.


Even though it got nominated for awards, like Best Animated Feature at the 95th Academy Awards, it didn't win. Guillermo del Toro's "Pinocchio," another Netflix animated film, took home the prize instead.
