We discover the secrets of Tula, the oldest town in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.

With more than 400 years of history, Tula is the birthplace of famous Tamaulipas leather, and has inspired several of northern Mexico's most important people.

The adventure starts in Ciudad Victoria, the capital of Tamaulipas, from where we'll take the highway across the impressive Sierra Madre Oriental.

The mountain range serves as a natural barrier that protects Tula from hurricanes and humidity coming from the Gulf of Mexico, which means that, as we descend the mountains, we see before us a vast expense of desert.
