After a year of the Battle of Mission City, Bumblebee was promised to protect his human companion, Sam Witwicky, but when the government created NEST, he was forced to abandon him and protect humanity from the Decepticons. We’ll see that he’ll struggle to confront his duties as a soldier because of this.
