I have finally started my solo offgrid shipping container home build and I could not be more excited!

In the last couple of weeks, I finished building my own house foundations for under $6k when I was quoted $60k for contractors to do it and I installed a concrete shed slab myself for under $4k!

This week I need to finish prepping the footings and then the containers are finally arriving, along with my extra storage container!

I have recently moved across the country due to the housing crisis and bought an offgrid property with the dream to build my own container house.

I became an owner builder and after 8 months of design and planning I was approved to build my own home in Western Australia.
