Winter time is editing time.
I am now starting to work on my oldest footages, starting in 1993, using Hi8 analogue tapes, partly heavily damaged. Quality is partially horrible and editing and scene cutting this material is a true nightmare. Nevertheless it is worth its while taking all the trouble to save these memories for the future.

I was living from 19941998 in South Korea and I was often shuttling between Seoul and Tokyo on duty. Among these countless flights are also those to be considered historic from the viewpoint of the year 2017. In the 90s however there was nothing special to fly onboard a classic B 747 or a DC10.

The following footage is of horrible quality. Tape and camera and battery problems, rain and bad camera focus. I do not really care about the ratings of of my videos. Publishing these historic footages is my mission in the first place.

This inflight video features a flight onboard Korean Air Lines classic B 747212B (ex Singapore Airlines) HL7453 from Tokyo (NRT) to Seoul (SEL) back in 1996, 21 years ago.

Airframe 21938 was manufactured 1980 and delivered
to Singapore Airlines registered 9VSQM, April 10, 1980. 9VSQM was sold to Korean Air Lines and registered HL7453, November 1, 1990. HL7453 was sold to Aerolineas Argentinas and registered
LVYPC, May 1998. LVYPC was sold to Air Plus Comet, Spain and registered ECIPN, June 22, 2003. ECIPN was sold to Wells Fargo Bank, Northwest NA Trustee and registered N938GA, September 26, 2006. N938GA operated finally for a private operator,
registered J2KCV after December 22, 2006. J2KCV is reported scrapped
