The Sony ICD UX 570 : How To Adjust Recording Settings

Follow
Tech Review Guy

In this video I take another look at the versatile and excellent Sony ICD UX570 digital handheld recorder. As I mentioned before, I am a big fan of this recorder and use it frequently in a variety of ways. I will also mention again that I am not being endorsed by Sony, and these videos are just an expression of my personal opinion.

In this video I look at four great features of this recorder:

1. How to adjust builtin mic sensitivity
2. How to use the recording filter
3. Recording with an external mic
4. Using the "sync rec" feature

What's great is that you can adjust the builtin mic sensitivity according to your situation. The recording filter is also very handy to cut down on noise. Plus, the builtin microphones work great, but you also have the option to use an external microphone. Finally, the sync record function is very useful if you are recording an external source (for example, a tape deck, a turntable, etc).

Please be sure to check out my other videos that talk about the Sony ICD UX570. I also have a playlist dedicated to this recorder. I will put a link to that at the end of the video. As I mentioned, I use this great little recorder in so many different ways. I use it for podcast recording, video work, digitizing analogue sources, mixing my own musical compositions, and so much more!

Do you own the ICD UX570? What do you think of it? Do you like it? How do you use it? Feel free to leave a comment!
