He created seven Horcruxes to achieve immortality, unintentionally splitting his soul into eight fragments. As for his time in Hogwarts, Tom Riddle was a gifted student who quickly became a prefect. He discovered his ancestry believing himself to be the true heir of Salazar, slithering and adopted the pseudonym Lord Voldemort.
