Risk of Rain 1 and 2 appear to have a minimalist, easytounderstand story: survivors find themselves trapped on a hostile planet, and they have to fight their way through the monsters they find on the surface in order to escape; however, as more of the game is played, players will come across Monster Logs, Environment Logs, and Item Logs that reveal that the story has much more depth than originally thought. Let's take the time to comb through the lore of the logs, organize it together, and summarize it so that we can see the story of Risk of Rain from its beginning to its end.
