Battlestar Galactica is an American science fiction television series created by Glen A. Larson that began the Battlestar Galactica franchise.

It was very expensive, very shortlived and embroiled in lawsuits and controversy the whole way.

And then they tried again with Galactica 1980. And it also went badly.
