What's up everybody! CMan back with another review just for you! I was originally skeptical about this project, until I went to NYCC and listened to Renny Harlin talk about the concept & the filming, and then I became excited! The idea of reimagining, instead of remaking, one of my favorite horror movies I thought had potential. Harlin even talked about including some of the iconic moments & of course keeping the masks, and at the time I genuinely thought we were in good hands. However the reimagining must take place in Chapters 2 and 3, because Chapter 1 is pretty much a straight up remake, and it doesn't give us nearly enough to say its worthy of its title. So why don't you pull up a chair, take a seat as we dive in SPOILER FREE into The Strangers Chapter 1!
