THE STREETS of DEBRECEN are A FEAST FOR THE EYES

It is not a myth or an urban legend. The months of July and August in the northern hemisphere directly affect our libido and the rise in temperatures increases the desire for intimate encounters.
It is not a coincidence either. Science supports this theory with different studies that detail the reasons why we feel more in the summer.
The first compelling reason is that being on holiday allows us to have more time, less fatigue and also involves letting go and feeling freer. “Therefore, this will help to greatly reduce stress and cortisol levels, which have a negative effect on libido,” say the experts.
The streets of Debrecen in summer are a feast for the eyes, the swaying anatomies swarm around us.
It should also be noted that there are more hours of sunshine and the days are longer. The body receives a greater amount of vitamin D, which directly activates the production of oxytocin or the hormone of happiness and pleasure, thereby increasing the release of both testosterone and pheromones through sweat.
Today is an obscenely hot day with an impressive sun, when our brain receives a greater amount of sunlight it makes our pituitary gland activate, releasing hormones that improve, for example, physical performance.
Heat increases the production of oxytocin and endorphins, which increases our desire. Thus, oxytocin, the socalled love hormone, is released during relationships, increasing pleasure and complicity with the partner. While endorphins contribute to reducing the feeling of pain and are also released during that moment.
Sunlight also increases testosterone and estrogen levels, favoring desire and mood. Just as serotonin levels, a neurotransmitter that makes us feel pleasure and excitement, drive fantasies related to summer, the beach and the pool.
On the other hand, vacations, the lack of schedules, the reduction of stress, the parties and dinners typical of this summer season favor encounters, both with the regular partner and with sporadic partners. Who doesn't miss their summer and youth loves?
The lack of clothing is another factor, in summer there is less left to the imagination, which increases our attraction to seeing halfuncovered bodies. Last but not least, the heat causes vasodilation of muscle fibers, which produces an increase in blood flow.
However, it is true that each person is different, so, although in general summer is associated with an increase in desire and encounters, for many people the stifling heat makes them not at all appetizing the moments when body temperature and sweat increase, unless you have good air conditioning.
In fact, according to a study conducted by Oxford University, it is true that relationships increase in summer and, with it, births 9 months later, but only in areas with cold or temperate climates, without extreme temperatures. In places where the heat is excessive, desire does not increase in the same way.
