The Bail of the Ball
The H.E.R.O.E.S. are taking center stage at the masquerade ball and begin with the customary dance of Seison. Some of them move with the grace of years of practice or just natural skil, while others of them with the skill of a baby giraffe just learning to walk. As the dance progresses Void and Quoras attempt to track down Secret Keeper Falone while Edi enjoys the dance to its fullest. Separated from the rest of the group, Nemeia comes face to face with Stedd Dundragon, the council member, and he is backed by several guards and he with the authority of Dominic Godefroy places Nemeia under arrest for the suspected murder of his son since she announced herself as Typhane, the primary suspect of his death. While she is taken away, Edi follows along behind, taking the carriage she arrived in on a low speed chase. Void encounters Secret Keeper Felone and arrainges for a meeting later that night at the Ye Old Bears tavern where there are less prying ears. Void and Quoras head to the castle to see about trying to free Nemeia and enlist the aid of Aldym while Nemeia is interrogated. Nemeia is shocked to learn that her friend Kori is still alive through use of the scrying spell and is about to have her thoughts read and Aldym is about to reveal a massive secret to the rest of the group as our episode ends.
