The Swimmer (1968) Review Ned (Burt Lancaster) realizes, while at a freinds house, that he can swim back to his home via a line of pools owned by his neighbors. As he swims home we get a glimpse into his past and realize that his life is now as carefree and happy as he is letting on. Does Ned accomplish his goal of swimming home?
