Jiraiya was a prominent character in the anime and manga series Naruto. He was a legendary ninja and one of the three legendary Sannin. Jiraiya was known for his powerful jutsus and his unique personality.

In the storyline, Jiraiya was on a mission to investigate the secret organization Akatsuki. During his investigation, he discovered the true identity of the leader of Akatsuki, but was ultimately defeated in a battle against him. Jiraiya's death occurred as a result of his injuries sustained in the battle, and he passed away while writing a message to his student and the protagonist of the series, Naruto.
