Some of you guys might not have played War Thunder long enough to remember it, but there was a brief period of time where the American M1 Abrams main battle tank absolutely wrecked balance at top tier. When the M1 was added, its main competitors were the German Leopard 2K and Russian T64B. While powerful in their own right, these tanks were not as strong as the M1. The M1 was almost impossible to ammo rack thanks to the blowout panels in the bustle, it was the fastest MBT around, and it had decent armor. Nowadays, things are a bit different. The M1 can still do some damage, but it is outclassed by much more capable tanks. Its saving grace is that it often gets downtiers against T72 TURMS players.
