To end off the night, I wanted to share the full footage of the Temptations Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame Introduction on January 18, 1989, which was also David Ruffin's 48th birthday. You'll catch a lot of legends in this footage, like Hall & Oates, who inducted the Temptations into the hall of fame, Stevie Wonder, David's older brother Jimmy Ruffin, Little Richard, Tina Turner, and many more.

Today in Temptations history, also marks the 35th anniversary of The Temptations being inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame, presented by the legendary Hall & Oates on David Ruffin's 48th birthday in 1989. All these footages that are mashed up into one are credited by the ‪@rockhall‬ YouTube channel.

The members that were inducted were Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin, Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, Dennis Edwards, and the late great Paul Williams, who wasn't there physically but in spirit. During the the ceremony, they paid tribute to the late Paul Williams by singing one of his signature songs called "Don't Look Back."

The current members (Ali, Ron, and Richard) of the Tempts were also there during the ceremony. Many fans thought that Richard Street should've been inducted as a member of the Temptations, even Damon Harris considering that they both won a Grammy with the group for their famous song "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone." Another thing about that special night, Eddie and Otis never spoke a word to each other during the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame. Otis said that Eddie gave him the cold shoulder that night, but despite the conflicts, they all made history that night. That night was special because one, it was great to see the old gang back together again and two, the Temptations achieved something that will out last them all.
