In this short documentary will try to review the history of the Northern Ireland Conflict (the socalled Troubles), starting from the origins, when Ireland had not yet been colonized by Germanic peoples from Britain, until the second half of last century, with Belfast devastated by clashes between the British army, the Unionists and the militants of the IRA, the Irish Republican Army. The Irish independence issue is still keenly felt in Northern Ireland today, so much so that, with Brexit, the problems have intensified. What will be the future of the island?
