In this video I talk about the reality of what its like to live together with your demented grandparents. It's not always pretty, it can be very demanding, stressful and exhausting most of the times. For us there's many factors that make this situation especially complicated and difficult and its been going on like that for a few years now. People always ask me why I haven't gotten a job yet, why I don't work out more, go outside and party and so on and so forth and the truth is that there's not a lot of energy left for all that at the end of the day. Next to studying, taking care of them is a part or even fulltime job and many people don't realize the reality of that. Dementia is a horrible disease and its hard for everyone affected by it as well as their relatives and caretakers.
