With its low cost, light weight, and lightningquick access to DOS, the DeskMate GUI, and a word processor with spelling checker in ROM, the Tandy 1100FD was the ultimate notebook computer of 1989 or so claimed Radio Shack. But is it worth owning today as a vintage PC?
