The most 1970slooking chrome and woodgrain cassette and 8track stereo system ever made... that's actually from the early 1980s. And despite the reputation of Soundesign being a cheap brand of audio components, it's surprisingly wellmade, goodsounding, and reliable.

Additional notes:
1. It didn't show up well under my bright studio lighting, but both meters are backlit, and the light bulbs in them are still working.
2. The two holders for what could've been dial lights are unusable, since the tuning dial is a solid piece of metal, so light won't shine through it.
3. Taking off the faceplate is easy once you pull off the knobs, and the two loose potentiometers simply needed to have their nuts tightened (don't laugh!).
