It’s finally here: the new T6.2 Ford Ranger with a turbo diesel V6 engine, and our man Iain Curry has driven it. This is the new Ranger Wildtrak V6 diesel, the top of the range until the Ranger Raptor twinturbo petrol arrives next month. With a 184kW (246 hp) V6 under the bonnet with 600Nm of torque this ute has serious grunt, with more torque than the outgoing Volkswagen Amarok and way more performance than a Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Mazda BT50, Isuzu DMax or Mitsubishi Triton.
