AROU CAMARIÑAS (26 KMS)
The Costa da Morte leads us through the kilometers that have suffered a greater number of shipwrecks showing us fractured landscapes, loaded with coastal ledges, submarine reliefs and inlets dotted with numerous beaches, such as those of Trece and Reira.
The Englishmen's Cemetery reminds us of the victims of the AngloSaxon ships wrecked at the end of the 19th century, and the Vilán Lighthouse, inaugurated shortly after these accidents, tries to prevent every day with its lantern that we have to mourn more losses of this depth.
After Cape Vilán we have an interval in the company of lively breakers to climb to the legendary Hermitage of A Virxe do Monte.
From this temple we can see Muxía and the Ría de Camariñas, which we enter to flank the Lago Beach and reach the remains of an ancient defensive fortress that will lead us to our destination, Camariñas.
