STORY
Welcome to our exploration of a forgotten relic of the past a grand palace frozen in time in the heart of Portugal. Builtin the mid1800s, this palace is a stunning blend of Victorian, Italian, and Portuguese architecture, a testament to the wealth and influence of the family who once called it home. For generations, this family knew no bounds when it came to luxury and extravagance, indulging in a life of leisure and adventure. But as time passed, the palace lost its luster, and when the family's heirs Lucinda and her husband inherited the estate, they were the last in line. Lucinda's husband passed away, leaving her alone in the vast and empty palace. When she too passed away in 2007, the palace was left to the mercy of time and the elements. Today, the palace lies abandoned and forgotten, its oncestunning gardens overgrown with weeds and its halls silent. Despite its significance, the family's descendants seem to have little interest in the estate, having moved on to new horizons.
