Themed as “Spring STEM Lecture Series” this month, the symposium is proud to feature regional speakers to share their research innovations, discoveries and aspirations in STEM.
The following lecture is on the Thermophysical Properties of Nanofluids and its Applications delivered by Dr. Zafar Said.
Dr. Zafar Said is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Sustainable Renewable Energy Engineering, University of Sharjah, since 2016. Before that, He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the iSmart group in the Department of Engineering Systems and Management, Masdar Institute, U.A.E. He completed his Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) from University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. He also serves as the coordinator of Functional nanomaterials synthesis lab, RISE. Dr. Zafar is part of the Sustainable Energy Development Research Group and is a Functional Materials Research Group member within the Center for Advanced Materials Research Center, and a researcher in RISE.
