The last time Swarovski introduced a new addition to their spotting scope line, they surprised most of us by going above and beyond the normal limits of spotting scope sizes. The 115 was a welcome addition to the line and really made it feel like they offered a spotting scope for any scenario.

Well… they must have thought differently. The 65mm just wasn’t light and packable enough. Enter the brand new STC and ATC spotting scopes. These are part of a brandnew product line that does not share the modularity of the X line. The specs will tell you that they are light and small, but just wait until you get one in your hands.

At just 2 lb, these are 1740x56mm and 1744x56mm spotting scopes that… get this… feature the exact same optical system as the ATX and STX. That includes Swarovision technology. They may not be part of the modular series, but you aren’t sacrificing any quality or clarity in this much smaller package.
