Under the changing sounds, growing and decaying all at once, this is a simple piece. Two sources, a Yamaha Reface CS and a Midiplus MiniEngine, duplicated and layered with different effects and recorded with Reaper.

The effects are all Valhalla plugins; the really quite beautiful Room Reverb, as well as the Freq Echo. Both effects are added and built up as the piece progresses. The music ending right before things get heavy.

The Midiplus Mini Engine is an odd one. It's kinda garbage, but I really like it and, honestly, I find it to be not too dissimilar to more expensive rack units from 10 years ago and certainly on par with most low to mid tier virtual instruments from today. And at $40? Great. It offers no ASDR or similar controls, so I played it through a DigiTech Polara Reverb set to reverse to create a swell.

It, and the Reface CS, were all played/sequenced with the Novation Circuit.
