Since adopting a minimalist lifestyle, I've realized that there are items that are simply not worth buying anymore. When we're caught up with "new this" and "new that" it's difficult to see what's important and necessary in our lives. So after quite a bit of decluttering, reflection and contemplation, I was able to cut back my spending, focus on what's important (relationships, passions, connection to nature, etc.) and remove the "unnecessary" from my life.
