I am a HUGE Donkey Kong Country guy, and this coming November marks the 30th anniversary of this series! Donkey Kong Country 2 came out a year after its already successful predecessor. Many people expected it to happen given how successful DKC1 was, but what they didn't expect was how much bigger the game was and how it elevated the DKC brand to heights previously not seen possible!

What are the ways in which DKC2 achieves this? How much better is it than the original game?
