Dr. Thomas Seyfried is an American professor of biology, genetics, and biochemistry at Boston College. He received his PhD from the University of Illinois UrbanaChampaign in 1976 and did his postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Seyfried has over 150 peerreviewed publications, and his research focuses primarily on the mechanisms driving cancer, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases and calorierestricted ketogenic diets in their prevention and treatment. He is the author of Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer and presently serves on the Nutrition & Metabolism, Neurochemical Research, Journal of Lipid Research, and ASN Neuro editorial boards.

Daniel Orrego is a CoFounder of the Hippocrates Research Foundation. Daniel is advancing a platform of patient advocacy, education, and facilitation to ensure that a broader public can access bestinclass health care in partnership with their physician.

Dr. Gregory Howard and Dr. Michelle Howard are cofounders of the Hippocrates Research Foundation, which studies cancer prevention. They used liquid biopsies to diagnose Dr. Michelle Howard’s stage zero melanoma and ovarian cancers and implemented nontoxic metabolic therapies to keep her cancer in check.

Lara Adler is an Environmental Health Educator and Science Communicator who teaches health professionals and individuals with healthbased businesses to better understand the role of environmental chemical exposures in causing or contributing to chronic health issues so they can more comprehensively support the clients/patients they serve. Lara is a member of the National Association of Environmental Medicine and the American Holistic Health Association.

Dr. Joe Zundell received his Ph.D. in cancer biology through the University of the Sciences and The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA. He has over ten years of cancer research experience as a cancer biologist. Much of his published research has focused on finding new therapies for the treatment of many different cancer types based on the epigenetic and metabolic characteristics of cancers. Currently, he is a research scientist at a biotherapeutic company near Philadelphia, examining immunotherapies for cancer treatment.
