Hearing Stephen play drum always reminds me how much I suck, so its about time I took him out of his comfort zone. Back when we were planning the 2nd kids drum set video I was asking about his double bass chops. Well, turns out we both aren't the best so we ditched that idea. So I thought it would be fun to check out The Duallist D4 pedal and see if it made us any better. This thing is trippy... It works like a normal bass pedal BUT theres an extra beater that plays on the upstroke when lifting off the footboard. It DEFINITELY takes some getting used to and probably a bit more setup time than we did. We played on it for about 15 mins before recording the tracks, and well, its pretty obvious From playing on it for that short amount of time I don't think we will be replacing out double bass pedals anytime soon...
