During my last visit to Ireland I had the change to talk to corporate leaders in Ireland about the impact of AI on Jobs, impact of AI on society, and the impact of AI on economy. In this video, I share lessons from My Talks with Corporate Leaders in Ireland. Future of Jobs looks uncertain because of the AI revolution and measuring or understanding the impact of AI is crucial to understand what jobs AI will replace and what are the jobs AI can’t replace in the future. Moreover, talking about the future of AI jobs we need to understand the impact of AI on employment with respect to the corporate job reality.

IT Jobs AI will replace has been a topic of debate for long. Looking at my talks with corporate leaders in Ireland, I can tell that impact of AI on Tech Jobs or Impact of AI on IT jobs is going to be a major one considering that the AI revolution is no longer comparable to anything less than electricity. Since AI will be used at many places and not just in specific use cases moving forward, we should be aware that Tech Jobs and IT jobs are going to fundamentally change because of the impact of AI on IT Jobs.

Talking about Jobs AI will create, we have to look at the AI jobs of future from the perspective of employees who already know a bit about AI. AI Jobs 2024 are already mostly going to folks who have some experience in Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning basics are important to learn for everyone even if you are working in a field that is completely unrelated to Artificial Intelligence. This is why AI is important not only in IT Jobs or Tech Jobs but in all future jobs in 2024. Corporate jobs in India are also pivoting towards AI and the way it can be used to increase productivity and efficiency.

Future of IT Industry and future of Tech Jobs depends on how the evolution of AI turns out in the future. However, the larger trend in corporate jobs is that people are slowly moving from wanting to work in corporates for a long time to trying to work on their own ideas. The impact of AI on human life and Impact of AI on economy cannot be ignored but we still have to look at our careers from a broader perspective. Factoring in your interests and trying to find a way to monetize what you are really passionate about is the best thing you can focus on right now.
