Learn why changing setups to adapt to your driving style might not be the best idea in the long term, depending on the stage of your driving technique. Here I'll tell you a story about a coaching session with a racing driver who wanted to learn more about setup changes. His ultimate goal was, like everyone, find laptimes.

I've been working with this student for some years already and he's been improving massively. He went from 1.5k iRating to around 7k in these years and he keeps improving a lot. He approached me to talk about setup changes, but I wasn't sure if that was the best idea for him... yet.
