Back in 2021 I bought early access to Legends of Aria, the game that was in many respects supposed to be a spirtual successor to Ultima Online, with one big twist: They'd incorporate custom servers or "Shards" as it was originally called Shards Online.

Development of the game stalled after 8+ years so they went a different route...selling themselves off to an NFT Metaverse company who not only tried to remake the game as a Pay to Earn title but also tried to put off screenshots from Blight: Survival as their own game...when the two games couldn't be more different.

Fast forward to now and Legends of Aria is trying to make a bizarre comeback as a game called "Legends of Aria Classic"

I'm not sure how you can be a classic version of a game that barely launched but...hey, you do you.
