I’ve had so many requests to start making fishing videos, so as we just passed 300k subscribers, I figured it was time to post one—along with the first face reveal on the channel! Of course, I plan to stick mostly to fly tying videos since sharing patterns is the primary focus of the channel. However, if this interests people, I may post more. If this is something you enjoy, remember to drop a like, as I use that to gauge what people are most interested in.

Anyway, this video is from one of my favorite rivers to fish and guide on here in Maine. At the right time of year, it’s filled with thousands of native landlocked salmon—a cousin of the Atlantic salmon that doesn’t return to the ocean but instead resides in lakes and rivers, coming back to the rivers in the fall for the spawning season. Today, we’ll spend a full day on the river, starting from waking up in the back of my truck cap camper that I use to travel around Maine, to the river where I’ll talk about some of the flies I’m using and, of course, catch some fish!
