Pupa was a manga that aired in 2011 (i think) and it received mixed ratings, but was still adapted into an anime adaptation. The only problem is, the pupa anime is terrible. We have a lot of edgy anime out there like Higurashi and Magical Girl Site, but Pupa goes a step too far and decides to make something really horrifying (for the wrong reasons). It's about a sister that turns into a cannibal and a brother who can regenerate himself, becoming the sister's substance to feed off of. Yep, that's it. The only has 12 episodes each going for around 4 minutes, so there isn't really any story (a logical one at least). It contains plot holes, terrible storytelling, strange censorship and an allround terrible theme. Don't watch this anime, WATCH ME INSTEAD *bites lip*.
