We batled the elements and got rewarded with a hefty bag of both rainbow and brown trout! Sometimes its the worst weathered days that bring some of the best fishing moments and today was no exception! Not only did we catch a ton of trout overall, but the sheer size of some of those Brown trout were actually amazing for such a tiny body of water. This creek runs right through a small town in Southeast Minnesota so I know it gets hit quite hard by fellow anglers, but that doesn't seem to bother these trout! One bait for the day (literally, just the one bait was all I had) which happened to be the tried and true "ned rig" it absolutely freakin' kicked butt again with the trout aggressively striking it almost every cast at certain points! Can't wait to go back!
