My grandson is fond of ThomasTrain, so I bought one of the Bachmann brand as a regular DC driven Gscale locomotive.
My garden layout however is not compatibel with electric powered trains since I have two reverse loops and I use only my live steam locos on this garden display.
I once bought an elder RC motorcontroller by Graupner, and I recovered some old batteries from a broken laptop.
This was a first attempt before tearing down the locomotive and install this RC controller and batterypower. To be continued.
