Thousands of runners took to Greater Manchester’s streets today for the 2024 Adidas Manchester Marathon.

A recordbreaking 32,000 people had signed up to take part in the 26.2 mile run, and they descended on the streets of Greater Manchester from early on Sunday morning (April 14).

The route saw them pass through areas such as Altrincham, Sale, and Chorlton. Runners were taking part to raise around £3.5m for hundreds of charities close to their hearts, as well as chasing personal bests over the length of the course.
