Thrombectomy is the mechanical removal of blood clots in the arteries or veins throughout the body. This minimallyinvasive procedure offers a powerful alternative to medications and medical management for certain patients diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, stroke or heart attack.
