Tib Training - Hidden Gem Or Waste Of Time?

Is tib training a waste of time?
I personally don’t think so. What do you think? I love hearing both sides

Recently, I’ve seen tib training catch a lot of flak on social media. But instead of arguing or blindly following a side why not think it through with first principles and decide for yourself if it makes sense to you

Our lower body accelerate with triple extension. Forward movement starts by pushing through the balls of the feet, followed by ankle extension, knee extension, and hip extension

Our bodies also decelerate through triple FLEXION. Deceleration also starts with a heel plant, which involves an isometric contraction of the tib. The body must absorb force through ankle flexion, knee flexion, and hip flexion to stop

These are only my thoughts, and I can’t imagine any scenario where having strong tibs is a determent. Especially when considering how little of a time investment is involved, when supersetting tibs after more compound movements like bench press, squats, or anything else

I’ve also found that stronger tibs help lower the probability of shin splints and ankle sprains
