In 2003, in the town of Ceclavín (Cáceres) traditional crafts still survived, whose authors inherited them generation after generation. One of them was Juan Galán, who dedicated himself to tinplate work since his childhood. Its activity included the manufacture of all types of objects in which tin is used as raw material, including lanterns or lamps.
