Banana Well
A bush camp on the Dampier Peninsula that is is not usually mentioned is Banana Well, it is a decent size and vans are well spaced out. It has limited powered sites but has plenty of taps for everyone to have water or if you choose to be further away, there are heaps of taps around for you to fill up without waiting. The camp site on a sweet water table and there is ab abundance of it, they said to take advantage of it and flush your tanks and fill up or even wash your car, as any spilled water simply goes back into the ground. It's 4km from the estuary but it's an easy drive.

What a great free camp! You have a choice of clifftop camping or there is heaps of space below the cliffs. The red cliffs are such a contrast to the beach sand and there are many rock pools for you to explore or have a dip.
